Fishing report 1.31.13

Hello everyone!  Hope the new year finds you well.  I haven’t given a report in some time, but there really isn’t much to report.  Lisa and I were out of town for the holidays and now we are back and working on business stuff.  Sounds like the sport crabbing went well for the other charter boats that ran those trips.  We will be running crab trips this year starting in November, so keep that in mind.  Looks like there will be a normal Halibut season this year, however next year we will most likely be under a quota based system.  We are anticipating another great season of salmon fishing with bigger fish swimming around.  The boat is getting a full maintenance makeover so that she will be ready when the season starts.  The engine is out and we are inspecting and replacing any and all worn parts.  We have already taken several bookings, so if you plan on going on a trip this season start thinking about when you might want to go and give us a call.  All prices will remain the same as last year, and you can see those prices on the home page.  Remember, we are running out of Eureka now, and we are the first charter boat on the left hand side when you come down dock “D.”  Can’t wait to get back on the water and take you all fishing!  Cheers, Captain Matt & Lisa……………
