Fish report for 05.23.13 and 05.24.13

After the wind we all expected to see some upwelling.  there was some off colored water, but not nearly enough.  On the 23rd we had Jesse T., and his dad Rob from grass valley charter the boat, and we scored six salmon that were a nice grade.  We went hunting around to see if there were other areas that looked good. I decided to cralw north and found very clear water with little bait and no birds.  Every thing seemed to be south even though it wasn’t great.  Today the 24th we ran south to the eel river canyon and found a few fish with a bunch of silvers mixed in.  We ended the day with another six salmon and we were happy to have them.  Here are the pictures from the last two days.  Good job to both crews you all did a great job at being a good team, Captain Matt…  P.S. we do have some open seats here in the next few days so call us and try and get on the boat, there are better days ahead and the ocean is getting better in the next several days.
